About Tamarack Christian School:
Tamarack Christians School is looking to launch its first classes in the fall of 2025. We are located in Warroad, Minnesota, and will draw students from several small towns in Northern Minnesota. What makes this school unique is the collaboration of five evangelical Protestant churches. The board of the school is comprised of leaders from these churches along with community members. Our purpose is to foster children unto the full knowledge of God and His creation. To equip and partner with parents who know and love the Lord in providing excellent and faithful educational instruction to children for the betterment of their families, furtherance of the gospel, and for the glory of God.
Head Master
Responsibilities of the Headmaster
- Implement the vision and policies developed by the board of directors
- Develop annual budget to be approved by board
- Work with the board to develop student and employee handbooks.
- Implement a student discipline strategy
- Oversee teachers, including regular observation and evaluation
- Work with teachers to ensure the curriculum meets or exceeds state standards
- Maintain accreditation
- Develop and implement crisis plans
- Represent the interest of Tamarack Christian School in the community
- Ability to teach students in lieu of teacher/instructor
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in education/administration
- Passion for educating students
- Active personal faith in Jesus Christ
- Agreement with the Tamarack Christian School Statement of Faith

Teacher
Responsibilities of Teacher
- Work with the Headmaster to ensure the curriculum meets or exceeds state standards
- Maintain an orderly classroom that allows all students the opportunity to learn
- Preparing lesson plans and teaching materials
- Maintain accurate grades for all students enrolled in class
- Communicating with parents and guardians about student progress
- Mentor and guide students in their academic and spiritual growth
- Represent the interest of Tamarack Christian School in the community
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in subject
- Passion for educating students
- Active personal faith in Jesus Christ
- Agreement with the Tamarack Christian School Statement of Faith
